We Bike

PROBLÉMATIQUE

This project was a refont exercise on the V3 app : the bike share service of Bordeaux. The app is deserted, when the number of bike users is rising... WHY ? Wireframe, high fidelity mockup & prototype

MAIN PAINS

Very little visibility of the app, very tricky user experience
Electrical bikes unusable because never explained
Rigid and tedious reservation process
A lot of bad experiences with bikes

SOLUTIONS

Creation of a new user flow
A 'How to use' page for regular and electrical bike
Add a feature to reserve for multiple people and from your phone
Add a rating system for the bikes

SOLUTIONS

The first step was to benchmark and conduct user needs interviews to define our objectives.

We then started wireframing and testing the new user flow, with 2 different scenarios, in order to validate it.

We defined a design chart and started high-fid designs and encountered some challenges with the pin system that was a bit complex or the itinerary flow.

Final user tests with a fully prototyped product

What I learned

---> Building the design of an app taking user needs and feedbacks first throughout the project
---> Prototyping and testing the app from the start
---> Creating testing & interview protocols with different interviewing methodology (guerilla, one-on-one...)
---> Analyse user feedback to implement new features while the project is advancing
