This project was a video game project with the theme : 'Composed Past'. We chose the subject of daughter-mother relationship through a plateformer with a multiple-choice story component.
We started our project by brainstorming about the story, the message and the flow of the game. In order to organise we structured a user flow chart to define our mvp and the features we wanted to have.
To get started on the visual universe we created a moodboard, we took this time to share inspiration on monochrome games that inspired us like Limbo, Hollow Knight or Genesis Noir
Before we could develop the game we had to structure the game design and the scenario and 3 possible story paths. We landed on 3 levels, 3 lives, 3 choices and 3 cinematics to bond the scenes.
I took charge of the character design and animation of our adult character and partcipated in the creation of the character design of the child Orphee and the differnent assets. To finally be able to implement the assets in the game.
